Woodrow Kroll: "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you" (Revelation 3:1-3).

He says Christ is going to come as a thief. Christ will not inform them of the time that He returns. That means that you and I, in anticipating the return of the Lord, have to expect Him at any time. That's why the imminent return of the Lord is an important doctrine in the Christian faith. Second Peter 3:10, "The day of the Lord will come as a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare" (NIV).
