Title: Satan's Lies
Tami Weissert: It doesn't take a lie; just a little doubt. Here's today's Bible Minute from Genesis 3. Woodrow Kroll: Satan couldn't tell the truth, so he introduces doubt into Eve's mind, and you notice in verses 2 and 3, she told him her interpretation of what God actually said. And Satan concocted kind of a justification for his lie, and that justification reversed all that Eve had ever known and experienced about God, that God might not be telling her the truth. Sometimes Satan causes us to hold lightly something we read in God's Word, and that's what Eve did. When someone casts doubt on God's Word, we're opening ourselves up to losing the battle against Satan. And if Satan can't get us to doubt God, he'll try to get us to doubt God's Word. Tami Weissert: You can win this battle -- let us help at bibleminute.org.
